Updated: Jun 18

Pinterest is one of the few places left on the internet where size really does matter.  Unlike most other platforms in fact it's really key to your success. Image size should be a 2:3 ration so whether that's 600 x 900 or 1000 x 1500 pixels just make sure it's 2:3, Pinterest will work it out once it's uploaded. The Canva template offers you an altogether alternative size of 735 x 1102 ..... You can test out all of the above BUT the most important thing to remember is to make sure that the image is of a 2:3 ratio so that it works both on desktop and mobile where around 80% of Pinners are viewing from📱

Also check that image itself isn't too high res - try an external free site like Sqoosh to squash it down for a better upload and site loading time. (PS - the current advice for creating the new 'Story Pins' is 900 x 1600 pixels, entirely different! To find out much more book a FREE 20 min discovery call or drop me a line to book in a Power Hour
