Typically on Pinterest, for big or seasonal occasions we work around 45 days in advance with our content pinning.

This year Easter is April 4th ( it’s an early one!) so right about NOW you want to be getting those Easter Pins out!🐣

They can be Pins that lead to any NEW Easter blog content or Easter related products on your website OR they can be NEW Pins that lead to any older and already successful 🐣 content from years back!

KEYWORDS ON PINTEREST 🔑 🔐

Keywords are considered the 'SEO of Pinterest' - they're the most important thing to think about when using the platform as they are THE Number 1 thing that gets your content in front of your ideal customer. ie - Keywords are THE WAY your content becomes discoverable.

WHY? .... Because as a search engine, it's words that people use to search and discover the answers to their problems with, the problems that your product or service can solve!

BUT WHERE TO PUT THEM? .....

⭐️DISPLAY NAME - as well as your business name, include a keyword here to describe your account and what you offer.

⭐️ACCOUNT BIO - going into a little more detail about what you offer, to whom and how it helps them include keywords here to make your account discoverable.

⭐️BOARD TITLE - we want our boards to be found, they contain all of our content - use keywords to help in that discovery AND to help Pinterest to work out what your content is about. Strong board titles enable Pinterest to index your content and get it shown to the right people!

⭐️BOARD DESCRIPTION - the board description should include keywords that help describe what people can expect to find within your board (they also help Pinterest with that indexing!)

⭐️PIN TITLE - describes clearly what your Pin is about, not too fluffy or descriptive, be to the point here.

⭐️PIN DESCRIPTION - there' a little more room for description here but still, keep your Pin description clear and concise. include one or two phrases and pepper the keywords throughout. BUT don't keyword stuff!

⭐️& - THE BONUS PLACE is... on THE TEXT OVERLAY! (if you are using text overly on your PIns that is) then keywords can and should be sued on your Pins themselves, the algorithm can work them out and that will help you get those Pins found even more!
